Aidan Bell was born in Hertfordshire, England in 1964 and started his career during his teens with roles in National tours and productions of shows such as Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, James and The Giant Peach and A Funny Thing Happened on the way to the Forum, for directors including Steven Daldry and Bob Thompson.

In 1990 he joined the European touring production of Hair, as "Margaret Mead", and toured 10 countries in 13 months before settling in Vienna, Austria, where he lived until 1999. There he made his name in 1993 as "Riff-Raff" in the high-profile 20th birthday production of The Rocky Horror Show. Other productions in Austria and Germany included the hugely successful musical revue "Musical? - Oh My God..." which he also produced, Into The Woods (Vienna), Freudiana (Vienna), several one-man shows, an annual Christmas production, Christmas Bells (Vienna), "Mary Sunshine" in Chicago (Stuttgart), "Chantal" in La Cage Aux Folles (Graz), "Teen Angel" in Grease, once again "Margaret Mead" in Hair and "Uncle Ernie" in Tommy (Kassel) and numerous revues, concerts and personal and television appearances. During this period he also recorded several CDs, including his solo album, Timewarp, the live recordings of "Musical? - Oh My God..." and The Best of Musicals, Christmas Bells, Musical Musical, and in London new recordings of The Rocky Horror Show (with Brian May and Christopher Lee) and Hair.

Aidan returned to England in 2000 where productions have included the UK tours of Warner Bros's Looney Tunes Live on Stage, and the musical "Scrooge", regular pantomime and continued work on the gala and solo circuit in Europe, as well as in theatre, such as "Annas" in Jesus Christ Superstar (Tecklenburg).

Aidan spent much of 2003 - 2006 in New Zealand, where work included theatre, music and the corporate market, playing Odysseus in the highly successful Troy - The Musical  (and the following season Monarchy - The Musical ) (Wellington), Napoleon in Napoleon and the Chicken Farmer (New Zealand Tour), and one of his personal highlights; eight days as an Orc in The Lord of The Rings, The Return of The King.

Aidan is currently based in England.

He is also extending his portfolio, multi-camera filming and creating DVDs of stage productions, taking Headshots and dancer/action shots and producing demos, backing tracks and other music in his home studio (which is available for hire).
